About me and this blog

Hi, I’m Jon.

A little over a year ago I ran off and joined the circus. At the time it was a big (and scary) leap for my family and I, but I’m so glad I took the plunge. I now perform in Las Vegas with Cirque du Soleil. To say it’s a cool job would be an understatement!

On stage, and off, I’m a big fan of pushing my limits; always trying to learn, grow, and get the most out of life. I know that many people are on a similar journey: trying to figure out what they want in life, and how to best achieve their goals.

That’s exactly why I started this blog!

I’ve been very fortunate in my life to have had great coaches and mentors, as well as out-of-the-ordinary experiences that have helped me to grow into the confident and high-performing athlete that I am today. Thanks to my experience as a national team aerial skier, and now a professional circus performer, I’ve learned many strategies to improve my performance and productivity, and do things that most people would consider to be impossible.

The things I do are not impossible, and neither are the things you want to do. I truly believe that anyone can achieve at a high level (with a few good pointers).

I’ve created this blog to share the many lessons I’ve learned (and continue to learn) as an athlete and stage performer; to break them down and translate them into strategies that you can use to get more out of yourself, and your life.

I hope I will be able to inspire you to chase your dreams, and equip you with the strategies to make them reality.

Let’s do the impossible!
